In the Town of Hearts, one woman has hers under lock and key...
Everything in Elizabeth Egan's life has its place, from the espresso cups in her gleaming kitchen to the swatches and paint pots of her interior design business. Order and precision keep her life under control - and keep Elizabeth's heart from the pain and hurt she has suffered in the past.
The only cloud on the horizon is her sister Saoirse. A red-haired whirlwind, she is always leaving behind pieces which Elizabeth struggles to pick up - including her six-year-old son Luke. Being a reluctant mother while trying to keep her business on track is a fulltime job, one which leaves little room for error - or fun.
Until, one day, a stranger unexpectedly comes into their lives. Ivan is carefree, spontaneous and always looking for adventure - everything that Elizabeth is not. In no time at all, he has crept under her skin and started to change her life in ways she could never have imagined.
But Elizabeth knows little about Ivan - who he is and whether he is everything he seems. And whether there is a future for their blossoming relationship...
Full of Cecelia Ahern's trademark warmth and poignancy, If You Could See Me Now is a story with heart - and just a little bit of magic.

Good. This is another beautiful story. I had a few doubts about it first, but it's really another Cecelia hit. This is tear-jerker #2. I really bawled my eyes out over a few parts. Oh, and good news: this will be turned into a film as well starring the hunkalicious, droolable, gorgeous Hugh Jackman (X-Men, Van Helsing, Kate & Leopold) as Ivan. ;D To everyone who finds the story a bit hard to get into: don't worry. It's a bit slow at first, but then speed picks up and you'll be at the ending before you know it wishing the story went on a bit longer.

Aww, I can deffently see him playing the part of Ivan. Eventhough I haven't read who/what Ivan really is yet... Cecelia's doing really great in the movie industry as well

Yeah, Where Rainbows End is also being considered to be made into a film at the moment! NEVER heard about that before. Where did ya read it? I read the book for the 2nd time a few weeks ago and then it was already known that Hugh would play Ivan. So I imagined him to look like Hugh and it fits so well. Hugh really was a brilliant choice!!!
