Some people wait their whole lives to find their soul mates. But not Holly and Gerry.
Childhood sweathearts, they could finish each other's sentences and even when they fought, they laughed. No one could imagine Holly and Gerry without each other.
Until the unthinkable happens. Gerry's death devastates Holly. But as her 30th birthday looms, Gerry comes back to her. He's left her a bundle of notes, gently guiding Holly into her new life without him, each note signed 'PS, I Love You'.
As the notes are gradually opened, and as the year unfolds, Holly is both cheered up and challenged. The man who knows her better than anyone sets out to teach her that life goes on. With some help from her friends, and her noisy and loving family, Holly finds herself laughing, crying, singing, dancing - and being braver than ever before.
Life is for living, she realises - but it always helps if there's an angel watching over you.

I've only read 2 Cecelia books so far, but this one really made me cry (already at page 20 or so... don't laugh!) It's truly a wonderfull book and it deserves to be a bestseller.

I've never cried this much reading a book as I did when reading this one. This book is a #1 tear-jerker! It's pretty sad, but in a beautiful and dramatic way. It also has lighter and funny parts. This is the book that introduced me to this wonderful writer. A must-read for every Ces' fan!

Yeah... you deffenetly have to read this one. Too bad we didn't really got to know Gerry while he was alive though. He sounds like a great man, but on the otherhand, I wouldn't want the book to be any different.

I think they'll put a bit more Gerry into the movie. I mean, they cast Gerard Butler! The guy is brilliant. They might as well use him as often as possible.

I didn't cry... but I love that book so much that I read it 5 times by now and handed it to all 4 of my aunts. And ALL of them loved it so much that they wanted me to give them her other books as well. They read all 3 by now and loved them all, I think I made some more Ces fans *hehe*

A Dutch friend of mine gave me "PS I Love You" as a Christmas present when she came to visit my family and I four years ago. I loved the story straight away. It's a fab book, no wonder it went on to become a bestseller! So far, I've read the book numerous times. I never get fed up with it.
