I really love this book! I like the way that you follow Rosie and Alex' life from young to middle-aged.
My friend read the book as well, but she didn't like the fact that the book content was mainly e-mails, letters etc...

I liked that format! It suits the story. Did have to get used to it in the beginning.
I got my copy from London. Asked a friend if she could buy it for me while she was there.
This book is sooo sweet! I started reading it around 2 AM and I couldn't put it down, so I read it through the night until 6 AM. And then I went to bed.

I think I read it 3 or 4 times by now *lol* It's a brilliant book, I loved the style. All those letters and e-mails, was a brilliant idea!

Yeah! I especially love the way Rosie and Alex talk in the beginning and how Katie writes no instead of know just like Alex.
When you read the Dutch version of this book it's not so much fun at all, 'cause I use the Dutch 'no' instead of 'know' a lot

It's also not so much fun in German. They just changed "weiss" (which is correct for "know") into "weis" for "no"... Boooring.

Yeah, it's almost the same in dutch.
We have 'Ik weet' for 'I know', but they changed it for 'kweet' which is pretty much how you prenounce 'ik weet' when you're talking fast.....

Not as funny as the English version. I know why I can't stand translation.
What's even worse: They left out some pages of P.S. and WRE in the German translation. When I read the English version I was like "Huh? What's that about? Never read that before."

There are some differences between the English and Dutch version too..
Like the Valentines' card Rosie sent Alex. Why would they change that..?

This book is so cool, so original!! I bought this book a few months into 2005 and when I started reading it, I was like: "Whoa, this was quite an original way of writing a book". This was the very first time I'd read a book that was written in the form of e-mails, letters, text messages only. Before this, I'd read books in which there was a regular writing but with letters, texts and stuff in them. "Where Rainbows End" presented me with a new way of writing a book. It's witty, great, lovely, romantic, sad, ironic at once. I love this book.
