So I went to the movie today. I liked it but was not too blown away and even a little dissappointed. If you've read the book you can really predict what's coming next... It's a good movie though, just not as amazing as theeeee book

I didn't even cry while I bawled my way through the book first time I read it. Did get a bit teary-eyed with Gerry's last letter, but that was it.

I think with a book this amazing, the movie's bound to disappoint. It was a nice movie though if you don't compare it to the book.

I think that the people who haven't read the book will like the movie a lot. Though it might be a little confusing in the beginning...

Friends told the same as you did, though: different from the book but still a good movie. Especially if you don't know the book.

I think that most readers will think that. I just saw the review in GALA (Magazine) they thought it was deffinately a movie for a good night out. So you'll enjoy yourself. Also just saw Hilary Swank on tv who said that Freedom Writers and P.S. I Love You were the best movies of 2007

Wasn't really blown away either when I saw it. Just like Amanda I got a bit teary with the last letter. But I did cry, of laughter though , when Holly was in the hospital. All you girls were like "What's wrong with her?" (I went together with Amanda, Sientje and a few others). But it was worth going and I had a great time with you girls!

Yeah the bit on the hospital was funny. A very 'dry' moment.
